Joe and Anne, Jane's dad and sister, gave these to us. We were so happy to have them with us, and we were sorry to have to leave the flowers behind when we came home.

Aquabus

Our hotel room faced False Creek, the strait between Granville Island and downtown Vancouver. The Aquabuses docked just outside. They were so tiny and topheavy that they looked like they'd capsize, but they didn't. One day we took one for a tour, and it was freakin' cold--but cool to see the city from water-level.
